This order involved the creation of an automatic filling and capping line for a cosmetics laboratory that packages air fresheners in plastic and glass containers with screw caps for third parties.
Overall, the plant recipes were created for three different formats of cylindrical bottles: 100 ml with screw caps and 500 ml also with screw caps but with push-open lids.

The solution from our EASY line was chosen for its versatility and ease of format changeover, as well as its compactness, which reduces its footprint and achieves a production speed of approximately 1,600 pieces per hour for the 100 ml format.
The system consists of a single monobloc structure with two separate volumetric dosing pumps and dispensing nozzles with radial holes specially designed to correctly manage the dosing of a product that forms a slight foam during the filling phase.
The pumps are positioned vertically on the left side of the monoblock (photo 1) and have a product intake hole located 60 mm from the ground, connected by a stainless steel manifold.

The interior of the monoblock (photo 2) consists of a dosing station with two dispensing nozzles, an automatic cap positioning pick&place system and a pneumatic screwing head with digitally adjustable pressure.
The dispensing nozzles include a drip-stop valve specially designed to prevent dripping at the end of the bottle filling phase, while the capping station features a steel mandrel customised for the type of cap to be screwed on.

Format change operations take an average of 10 minutes, while the washing cycle can be activated directly from the machine’s PLC: all components of the dosing unit (pumps, nozzles and pipes) can also be quickly removed using clamp connections for more thorough and accurate cleaning.
Finally, the line can be connected to container loading or accumulation tables, an automatic cap loading system, an end-of-line labelling machine and any other desired components that complete the packaging cycle.
