This order involved the creation of an automatic line for packaging liquid products in two types of 1-litre containers with plastic screw caps (photo 1), filled at room temperature in two distinct phases:
– Phase 1 – product A filled to 90% of the container’s capacity
– Stage 2 – product B filled to 10% of the container capacity

The dosing station consists of 2 volumetric pumps with different ranges and dispensing nozzles designed to be reliable in the filling process and to ensure the correct alternating product dispensing speeds.
To achieve alternate dosing, a special software modification has also been designed and implemented that allows the filling cycle to be timed, dividing it into two distinct phases and optimising the correct cycle time between the first and second dosing stations.

The screwing station provides for the automatic application of the cap with a pick&place system that rotates it into position and a pneumatic screwing machine with digital pressure regulator to easily set the correct tightening torque.

The machine is delivered to the customer with the processing recipes created and set up to manage the required formats and has special software for remote assistance integrated into the PLC.
