The customer was looking for a solution that would allow them to automate the capping process after filling the containers with a semi-automatic bench-top dosing machine.
Our CAPPING machine is ideal for speeding up this process, which, when managed with a bench-top machine, slows down the production cycle, making it very repetitive and complex.
The formats covered by this order are classic glass containers with twist-off caps (photo 1), typical of the food industry and used for products such as sauces, jams, honey, spreads, preserves in oil, etc.

The machine is specifically designed to be very compact (photo 2) and is made with a stainless steel structure with wheels to allow it to be moved around the production area: for example, to place it next to a bench-top dosing machine or alongside an automatic dosing solution at the outlet.

The container enters (or is placed) on the conveyor belt with the cap resting on it and is closed with a pneumatic screwdriver and a special mandrel. The system is equipped with a touch screen panel where you can set the various processing recipes, modify the various parameters individually and digitally adjust the capping pressure: the controls mentioned are simple and intuitive and allow you to create customised recipes based on the format, type of cap and desired closure.

The machine is designed to be simple and intuitive, with format change operations taking just a few minutes. It is also possible to provide a remote control system for both remote assistance and system monitoring by third-party software.
