Oil, vinegar and liquid flavours
Oil and vinegar are the condiments par excellence. Olive oil is produced by grinding olives and extracting the oil by mechanical or chemical means. Green olives usually produce bitter oil and over-ripe olives can produce oil that is rancid, so for a good extra virgin olive oil, one has to make sure that the olives are perfectly ripe. Vinegar comes from fermented liquid. When bacteria combine with oxygen in the fermented liquid, acetic acid, also known as vinegar, is created. Some people believe that vinegar was first discovered by accident when a wine barrel was stored too long and became acidic. Oil and vinegar filling lines can operate with: manually operated dosing semi-automatic dosing on a rotary table semi-automatic dosing on a belt line including capping and labelling automatic dosing on an automatic line including filling, capping and labelling.
Whichever solution is chosen, the dispenser requires a hopper at room temperature, heated on request. The appropriately sized hopper can be: smooth (only the containment cone) moved to keep the product mixed during dosing and/or stationary Clearly, in addition to oil and vinegar, other types of liquid products, such as flavourings, can also be dosed with these plants. Cm3 Engineering specialises in systems and lines for filling, dosing and bottling oil, vinegar and liquid flavourings.
